One GRMC strategic focus is to create a culture that emphasizes constantly improving quality, safety, and service excellence in a measurable way, serving as a model for hospitals nationwide.

In the spring 2016 Leapfrog Group report, GRMC earned an “A” score for patient safety. This is the fourth year that GRMC has earned this top award for patient quality, safety and efficiency.  

Our patients and families know our organization is fully committed to patient safety, a strong leader in the community and a safer choice for themselves, their families and loved ones. The score was developed by the foremost patient safety experts in the country.  The score has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Patient Safety.  Additionally, the score is 100-percent transparent and free to the public.
