GRMC welcomed Debra M. Muckler, physical therapist, to the F.A. Jones Physical and Occupational Therapy Center in July. She joins a team of six physical therapists and two physical therapy assistants, who provide outpatient and inpatient physical rehabilitation services to residents.
Muckler will focus her time with inpatients admitted to GRMC. Her experience has been with inpatients. For the previous seven years, she worked in the Unity Point Trinity hospital in Rock Island, Ill. She also has physical therapy experience in acute care rehabilitation centers, an orthopedic center, school-based program, and a long-term care facility. She earned her physical therapy degree from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Mo., and is credentialed as a clinical instructor.
Muckler selected GRMC to advance her career when family moved to the Newton area. She says, “I looked for PT opportunities with inpatient setting and GRMC seems like a good fit and pleasant place to work.”
“Debra brings physical therapy skills from diverse clinical settings that will benefit our inpatients. We are excited to welcome her to GRMC,” says Tom Gallo, PT, director of the F.A. Jones Physical and Occupational Therapy Center.
