Are you feeling a little stiff and sore, but not sure who can help? Join us Monday, April 16, at UnityPoint Health® – Grinnell Regional Medical Center’s Senior Education Program to learn more about all the programs and services offered through integrated medicine at GRMC. Chad Nath, director of fitness, wellness, integrated health and GRMC’s day camp, will explain how the variety of programs offered by GRMC work together to focus on residents’ overall wellness in their everyday lives.
Nath will discuss the different types of exercise classes focused on helping seniors maintain their strength. He will also explain how massage and relaxation therapies can have a positive impact to increase flexibility. He will also unveil new cooking classes planned at GRMC to help participants continue to make nutritious meals at home.
This program is free and open to the public. It will be held at 10 a.m. in the Drake Community Library, with refreshments beginning at 9:30 a.m.
