The Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce works hard to support local businesses, build up our community and serve as a catalyst for economic growth. Join the UnityPoint Health® – Grinnell Regional Medical Center Senior Education program on Monday, April 23, to hear Rachael Kinnick, chamber director, discuss what future plans the chamber has to keep Grinnell a vibrant place to live, learn, work and play.
Kinnick will give an overview of the organization and how it works to accomplish its mission throughout the local community. She will also discuss initiatives for the upcoming year and what those initiatives are doing to promote economic growth and business development. Kinnick will explain the work the chamber does to attract new businesses to the community, while still providing support for local, established business owners. As an advocate for small businesses, Kinnick has direct experience through the chamber helping local entrepreneurs make that leap to become first-time, small-business owners.
This program is free and open to the public. It will be held at 10 a.m. in the Drake Community Library, with refreshments beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Parking is available at the Drake Community Library, along Park Street, on Fifth Avenue and in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot. Seniors needing transportation may call GRMC Communications and Development at 641-236-2590 by the Thursday before the program.
