Upon entering the main entrance at GRMC, patients and visitors will approach the information desk and then be directed to the next available admitting clerk.
The admitting clerk will need the patient’s name, telephone number, address, next of kin, physician, a photo identification, and insurance information. The patient’s physician will have submitted orders for the tests to be completed and information concerning the patient’s stay at GRMC.
Obstetric patients may pre-register so when they arrive they are taken directly to the Kintzinger Women's Health Center for evaluation and preparation for delivery of the baby. Contact the obstetrics care coordinator by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 641-236-2324 with questions.
For inpatient admission, the patient will be escorted to the medical unit for room assignment.

For outpatient procedures, the patient will be offered a wheelchair and escorted to the service area, typically laboratory, radiology, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation services, and dietary education.
